Northrop Plaza probably wasn’t the best place to study Wednesday afternoon. That’s because student band Whosah played a free concert as part of the Northrop-sponsored Student Sound concert series.

The word Whosah may sound unfamiliar, but the band may ring a bell. That’s because three years ago they won the university’s Spring Jam Battle of the Bands competition.

The Student Sound series continues on Oct. 13, when Treading North takes the stage.
