This September and October, many nationally and internationally renowned speakers and entertainers will be visiting different venues all across the metro area.
Kicking it off on Monday, Sept. 21, is Tom Emmer who represents Minnesota’s 6th district in the United States House of Representatives. He will discuss his first year in Congress and what experiences he has taken from it.
On Monday, Oct. 19, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia will visit the University of Minnesota to talk about interpreting the Constitution.
Mid October brings big journalistic names such as CNN’s Anderson Cooper and James Risen of the New York Times. Risen will discuss how to report and investigate situations in which the national security is in question.
Popular comedians Lewis Black, Bill Burr, Bo Burhnam and Pete Holmes, to name a few, are all bound for the Twin Cities within the month.
