U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry recognized Osseo High School for its successful exchange student program.
The commendation goes to United States high schools that support public diplomacy efforts by hosting high school exchange students sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.
The AFS Intercultural Program, a nonprofit organization that helps place exchange students in various schools, said they were proud to work with the Osseo School System.
“Thank you Osseo High Schools.. We hope that more schools will follow the example you have set by hosting young people from around the world and encouraging U.S. students to have a similar experience abroad,” said AFS in a press release.
Hopkins High School also received recognition for its work with exchange student programs.
